Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus, or any other order or direction in the nature of a writ, to call for the records relating to the notification of the 3rd respondent dated 20.12.2002 published in the Hindu and the consequential letter issued by the fourth respondent in No.18/MNNIT/CCB/2003, dated 29.04.2003 and quash the same in so far as it relates to the petitioner's Deemed University is concerned and forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from interfering with the right of admission of the students of the petitioner Deemed University viz. Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology Deemed University, at Jeppiar Nagar, Old Mahabalipuram Road, Chennai 600 119.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made an endorsement which reads as follows:
" The matter relates to 2003-2004 admission to the University. At this time it appears nothing survives. However with liberty to file fresh case if anything arise in future, withdraws the petition."
2. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
