Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent State Government to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 17.07.2018 in order to revise and reduce the minimum land area prescribed for establishment of college in rural areas in G.O.Ms.No.40, Higher Education (E1) Department dated 28.02.2014 and to ensure uniform land area for all the colleges within the State of Tamil Nadu irrespective of location within a stipulated time frame fixed by this Court.
