.. Respondents This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both parties are present. Mr.L.Ramu, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.V.R.Anna Gandhi, learned counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 are present.

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The appellant and learned counsel for the appellant, viz., L.Ramu and the respondents 1 & 2 and their counsel, viz., Mr.V.R.Anna Gandhi are present. Mr.C.Venkatachalam, Administrative Officer, Superintendent of Police, Dharmapuri for the fourth respondent is present. Respondents 3 and 5 are absent.

2. The appellant and respondents 1 and 2 have filed a Joint Memo of Compromise and the same is read over and recorded. The appellant and respondents 1 and 2 and their respective counsel have also signed the aforesaid Memo of Compromise and the same is recorded.

3. Today a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakhs only) has been paid by the appellant to the respondents 1 & 2 and also handed over a cheque for Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) (cheque bearing No.004312 dated 18.03.2015 drawn on ICICI Bank, Armenian Street, Chennai Branch).

4. By this compromise, the appellant is entitled to continue the job, viz., Office Assistant in the Office of Commissioner of Police, Salem City and she is also entitled to receive the pension arrears as well as future pension and job guarantee.

5. The respondents 1 & 2 have to satisfy with the amount of Rs.13,00,000/- and they are not entitled to further claim in respect of estate of Swaminathan

6. Writ Petition in W.P.No.32333 of 2013 pending before the Hon'ble High Court, Madras and the same is withdrawn, in view of the compromise.

The Second Appeal is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected the Miscellaneous Petition is closed. The aforesaid Compromise Memo shall form part of the decree.

7. Respondents 3 and 5 are given up and they are only formal parties and bound by compromise decree. The concerned authorities are directed to give effect to the Compromise decree passed in second appeal.
