It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already been promoted as Deputy Superintendent of Police and he has been posted in Kanyakumari.

the Director General of Police with regard to fixation of his seniority. In the event of such representation being made by the petitioner to the said authorities, the same shall be considered by them and appropriate orders shall be passed within a period of four weeks thereafter.
