When the matter came up for hearing today, the second petitioner as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves by producing their Aadhar card and driving licence respectively.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending investigation in Cr.No.438 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioners have amicably settled the dispute among themselves and also filed a joint compromise memo dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

06.02.2018 to that effect.

Consequently, the de-facto complainant has filed an affidavit dated 06.02.2018 wherein he has stated that the dispute has been amicably settled and he has no objection to withdraw the complaint pending against the petitioner registered in Cr.No.438 of 2017 by the respondent police.

4.Recording the submissions made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by him dated 06.02.2018, the investigation in Cr.No.438 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
