ORDER

This application has been filed by the applicants / plaintiffs to amend the address for service of the 1st respondent / 1st defendant in C.S.No.178 of 2025.

2. According to the applicants, they are the plaintiffs in the main suit. Earlier the 1st applicant / 1st defendant was residing at No.15/8, Sudharsan 5th Street, Kondithope, Chennai - 600 001, and the applicants / plaintiffs came to

know that the 1st applicant / 1st defendant is residing at "No.15/8, Sundaram Mudali Street, Kondithope, 5th Street / Lane, Kondithope, VOC Nagar, Chennai - 79, therefore, the correct address of the 1st defendant has to be mentioned in the plaint, therefore, filed this application.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides and perused the documents placed on record.

4. Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the application and taking note of the fact that notice has not been served to the 1st respondent / 1st defendant so far and now only the applicants came to know about the correct address of the 1st defendant, viz., "No.15/8, Sundaram Mudali Street, Kondithope, 5th Street / Lane, Kondithope, VOC Nagar, Chennai - 79, and since the correct address has to be mentioned in the plaint, this application is allowed. Post the matter on 20.02.2026 after carrying out necessary amendment.
