Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records relevant to the order in O.Mu.No.054725/W1-1/07, dated 20.07.2007 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal, improper, unreasonable, arbitrary against the rule of law, total non application of mind and against the natural justice and thereby direct the respondent to promote the petitioner who appointed as Post Graduate Teacher transferred from Tamil Nadu Educational Subordinate Service as Headmaster of the Higher Secondary School and pay back all the secure and monetary benefits to the petitioner.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner was already got promotion and also retired from service and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

2.There is no representation for the petitioner, for the reason that the petitioner was already got promotion and the learned counsel is also not interested in proceed with the matter.
