ORDER

The petitioner joined the service as Assistant Surgeon and finally he was promoted to the post of Senior Civil Surgeon. The petitioner attained Superannuation on 30.06.1995. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondents have not extended him the benefits of the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.363, Finance (PGC) Department dated 23.8.2013. The petitioner submitted a representation on 13.10.2014 to the first respondent requesting to extend him the benefits of the Government Order. However, there was no follow up action taken by the first respondent, resulting in filing this writ petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation, dated 13.10.2014, submitted by the petitioner, on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
