The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner from the date of joining i.e. 24.11.1983 to 31.07.2015 for 31 years.

2. The petitioner was working in the second respondent corporation from the year 1983 and his services were regularized in the year 2009 and he had drawn his salary of Rs.22,019/- at the time of his retirement.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was permitted to retire on 31.07.2015 but he was not given with any terminal benefits like encashment of leave, gratuity, etc. The petitioner's representation in this regard was also not considered so far.

However, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's terminal benefits have been settled long ago in the year 2015 itself and the petitioner has also given an undertaking on 06.11.2019 that he will not claim anything further. The petitioner was relieved on compulsory retirement at the end of the disciplinary proceedings initiated against him for certain lapses.

5. Whatever may be the case, the petitioners' representation has not been 2/4

considered by the respondents so far. In view of the same, appropriate direction should be given to the respondents.

6. In view of the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed and the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
