By consent of both parties, the Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.
The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 17.05.2018 with regard to issuance of patta in respect of the property in Survey No.276/9 and New Town Survey No.461 situated in Karuppanur Village, Tirupattur Village, Vellore District.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 17.05.2018 to the first respondent seeking to issue patta in his favour in respect of the property in Survey No.276/9 and New Town Survey No.461 situated in Karuppanur Village, Tirupattur Village, Vellore District, but the same is yet to be disposed by the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.
Mr.V.Shanmugasundar, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents, submits that the District Revenue Officer is the authority to consider the said representation of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the first respondent to delegate the matter to be considered by the District Revenue Officer concerned, who in turn, shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the persons interested in this regard and also affording them an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
