ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 25.01.2019 passed in W.P.No.1758 of 2019.

2. Today, when this matter was taken up, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents produced a copy of the communication in e/f/vz;/m1-722-2017, dated 25.03.2021 issued by the Block Development Officer, Melbuvanagiri, wherein it is stated that pursuant to the order of this Court, enquiry was conducted, in which the petitioner appeared before the PA to the District Collector on 10.07.2019 and produced the relevant documents; as the application was made belatedly, necessary relaxation be obtained from the Government and hence, the District Collector has taken steps to recommend the application of the petitioner along with the relevant document to the Government for necessary orders.

3. In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that nothing survives for the adjudication. Hence, the Contempt Petition stands closed, 2/3

with a direction to the first respondent to take speedy steps with regard to the claim of the petitioner.
