Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to implement the orders of the 1st respondent vide Communication No.4212/Peru-2(1)/2023 dated 02.11.2023 which was passed based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2023 given regarding the allocation of funds to fulfill the basic requirements such as Street lights, Drinking Water Tanks, Sanitation and laying roads etc. in the 14th ward of the Kolathupalayam Town Panchayat, within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to implement the orders of the 1st respondent vide Communication No.4212/Peru-2(1)/2023 dated 02.11.2023 which was passed based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2023 given regarding the allocation of funds to fulfill the basic requirements such as Street lights, Drinking Water Tanks, Sanitation and laying roads etc. in the 14th ward of the Kolathupalayam Town Panchayat, within the period stipulated by this Court. 2. Heard Mr.T.Ramasamy, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for R1 to R3 and Mr.V.Manohar, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for R4 & R5.
3. The petitioner who is a Ward Councilor of the 14th Ward of the Kolathupalayam Panchayat has sent a representation dated 19.08.2023 to the respondents 1 & 2 by stating that no allocation of fund has been made to his Ward in order to execute the essential needs of the Ward.
4. It is learnt that the first respondent has already instructed the second respondent to make inspection and take appropriate action. Despite the same, the second respondent has not inspected the petitioner's Ward and submitted any report or taken any action. It is upto the petitioner to file a fresh representation to the second respondent to comply the direction of the first respondent issued to him by letter dated 02.11.2023.

With these observations, this Writ Petition is disposed and the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the second respondent is directed to take appropriate action in pursuant to the earlier letter dated 02.11.2023 and pass appropriate orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
