ORDER

The writ petitioner is a Senior Citizen. He had taken recourse to the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 complaining about his foster son, who is impleaded as third respondent.

The petition given by the petitioner herein is now pending before the second respondent / Sub Divisional Magistrate Cum Sub Collector, Parents and Senior Citizen, Maintenance and Welfare Tribunal, Pollachi, Coimbatore.

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction against the second respondent to dispose of that petition within a reasonable period of time.

Mr. S.J.Mohammed Sathik, learned Government Advocate took notice for the respondent Nos. 1 & 2.

Without entering into a discussion on the merits, a direction is given to the second respondent that after the third respondent enters appearance and after he files his counter to the representation given by the petitioner herein, from that time onwards, to dispose of the petition given by the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from that date. 6.
