ORDER

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the respondent - Electricity Board submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner has paid the amount due to the respondent Board and hence nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. In support of the same, he produced a copy of the communication, dated 27.07.2018, wherein it is stated as follows :- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

As per Court direction, initially 50% of audit short fall amount of Rs.2,72,732/- & CC charges for the period of 02/2008 to 04/2008 amount of Rs.99,543/- collected vide receipt No.Chn062IAIQ1155, dated 24-122012 from the owner of SC No.:062-019-1765. And the balance 50% amount was included and short fall amount of Rs.2,72,732/- collected and BPSC of Rs.84,247/- vide receipt CHN29IA1S164, dated 12-112013 for SC No.:029-024-172 in the name of P. Devendran D. Srinivasan.

Hence the BOAB audit shortfall amount raised for the SC No.:062-019 1563 was fully collected.

2. The said submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent has been agreed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Recording the same, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
