ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to give police protection to the petitioner's property and his family members.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner purchased a house property from one Jayakumar in the year 2022. The 2nd respondent is the predecessor in title of the petitioner/vendor. Now, 2nd respondent is trying to disturb the possession of petitioner's property. In this regard, petitioner gave a complaint to the respondent police. The respondent police gave a receipt in C.S.R.No.27 of 2023. In such circumstances, this petition is filed for police protection to the petitioner's property and his family members.

3. In response, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that complaint given by the petitioner was enquired by the respondent police. During enquiry, petitioner informed that, he want to get the relief from the Court. Therefore, petitioner enquiry was closed.

4. Heard the submissions and perused the records.

5. In the light of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) and the facts of the case, this Court finds that, there is a dispute with regard to the possession of the property and only a competent Court can decide this issue between the parties.

6. In such view of the matter, this Court directs the petitioner to approach a competent Civil court for appropriate remedy.
