COMMON ORDER When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the relief sought for in the present writ petitions have become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication. However, he prayed for a direction to the respondents to refund the earnest money deposit made by the petitioner.
2.Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the prayer in the writ petitions have become infructuous and the petitioners are entitled for the refund of the earnest money deposit made by him. 3.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the respondents to refund the earnest money deposit made by the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
