This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order dated 05.09.2022 made in Letter No.SCN/313257561/22 on the file of the Regional Passport Officer, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that as per the procedures laid down, further action regarding impounding of Passport has been dropped.

3. The statement is recorded and the communication of the petitioner is retained in the Courts records. Hence, no further adjudication is required.
