Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent 17.09.2015, in Memo No.929/BCDFGISSSV/2015, against the petitioner husband Palani, Male aged 33 years, S/o.Velu, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal II, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before the Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

(The order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU.,J ) The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, Mr.Palani, Son of Mr.Velu, aged about 33 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent, dated 17.09.2015, against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Nadu Act 14 of 1982].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner, dated 17.09.2015, has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.7142, dated 12.11.2015, and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as infructuous.
