MURUGAN [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant Stay of all further proceedings in pursuant to the Judgment and decree dated 13/07/2016 made in CMA (LA) No. 06 of 2007 on the file of Sub Court Dharmapuri modifying the Award No. 1/ADW/2002-03 in Na.Ka.No. 352/2002 (T) dated 20/03/2003 on the file of the Lane Acquisition Officer Dharmapuri (CMP.8089/2018) pending disposal of the above SA.

295/2018 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.DEV NARANDRAN, GOVERNMENT ADVOCATE, for the petitioner and of MR.V.R.ANNAGANDHI, Advocate (Caveator)for the Respondent the court made the following order:- This Court while granting Interim Stay by order dated 26.4.2018 directed the appellants to deposit 50% of the award amount, within a period of four weeks. Thereafter, this matter on several occasions came up for hearing. Though the learned Government Advocate appearing for the appellants took time to make the deposit, till date the deposit has not been made as directed by this Court.
