The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2018, seeking to clear the blockage in the open drainage situated in front of the petitioner's house at 4/69, Ponnai Main Road, Nellikuppam Village, Walaja Taluk, Vellore District.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner has sent a representation on 20.12.2018 requesting the 2nd respondent to clear the blockage in the open drainage situated in front of the petitioner's house. Since the said representation was not considered, the present writ petition is filed before this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents sought for sufficient time to consider the pending representation of the petitioner.

4.Considering the nature of prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.12.2018 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing opportunity to the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the representation to the 2nd respondent enclosing a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
