This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the fourth respondent to correct the wrong measurement in the Patta No.1005 pertaining Survey No.254/38 of No.10 Vanganor Village, Pallipattu Taluk, Tiruvallur District based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2020
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. When the matter came up for hearing on 01.02.2024, it was submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader that already order has been passed on the petitioner's representation and he has also produced the copy of the proceedings. However, there was some discrepancy in the date of proceedings in the first and the last page of the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirutani, Hence the matter is posted for clarification with regard to the same and also directed the officer concerned to appear before this Court.
4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mrs.Deepa.K, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruttani has appeared before this Court.
5. It is submitted by the Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that due to oversight, while taking printout for additional copies of the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, the date has been wrongly mentioned. However, now the final order has been passed on the petitioner's representation. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved with the final order, he can challenge the same by way of appeal before the competent appellate authority.
6. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
7. Appearance of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruttani is dispensed with.
