O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authority to grant permission to perform the cultural event viz., Aadal Padal (Song and Dance) programme to be held on 12.08.2018 at 06.00 p.m., onwards in connection with the Temple festival of Arulmigu Sri Arulram Eshwara Karuppasamy Thirukovil, Therpillaiyar Thottam, Karkoodalpatti Village, Pilippakkuttai, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2018. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 06.08.2018 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 12.08.2018 from 06.00 p.m., the respondent has not passed orders till today. 3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law on or before 11.08.2018. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
