Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detention order made in Memo No.921/BCDFGISSSV/2015, dated 17.09.2015, passed by the second respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu Selvam, S/o.Mohan, Male, aged 33 years, and now detained at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and to set him at liberty forthwith. O R D E R

(The order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU.,J ) The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent, dated 17.09.2015, against the detenu branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982]. 2.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the petitioner, dated 17.09.2015, has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.7040 Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 09.11.2015, and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
