to issue a Writ of Declartion declaring that the Resolution No.453 dated 30.05.2002 of the fourth respondent is illegal and unenforceable and that the consequent decision of the fourth respondent dated 23.09.2002 rejecting the petitioners representation is illegal and direct the fourth respondent to refund to the petitioners, the amounts recovered hitherto from the petitioners consequent to the decision of the fourth respondent dated 23.09.2002. When this matter came up for consideration on 12.06.2025, this court passed the following docket order:- "Though this writ petition filed in the year 2003, and counsel for the petitioner was already accommodated on 21.04.2025, a request was made by the learned counsel and accordingly, the matter is listed today.

2. Even today, learned counsel made a request again for adjourning the matter. This court is not inclined to grant adjournments since the writ petition is of the year 2003.

3. Hence, list the matter under the caption 'For Dismissal' on 16.06.2025."

2. Inspite of the above order and inspite of the matter being listed under the caption 'For Dismissal' today, there is no representation for the petitioners either during the pre-lunch or post-lunch session.

3. In the circumstances, this court is left with no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the same is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
