Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the first respondent's letter bearing No.8283/FR.10/2004-20, dated 06.01.2009 in respect of reserve forest quarry lands measuring 0.97.0 hectares (2.50 acres), comprised in Survey No.151/1, corresponding to Cairn No.31 to 43 situated in Kanai R.F. of Mattaparai Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, Villupuram District, quash the same and direct the respondents to reconsider the proposal of the petitioner for approval under Sec.2 of the Forest Conservation Act and grant renewal pursuant to the renewal application of the petitioner dated 18.02.2003.
