WP.NO.4996 of 2010:Petition Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to provide pension to the petitioner for having worked in the State Transport Corporation (Express Division) ltd in the light of the decisions rendered in C.a.Nos. 1444 and 1445 of 1999 within the time frame to be stipulated by this Honourable court together with all arrears and other service benefits.

J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI,J.,) Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the appellant submits that in view of G.O.Ms.No.96 Transport (RW1) Department, dated 31.07.2015, the appellant/State Government is not interested in prosecuting the appeal.

Accordingly, the learned Special Government Pleader seeks permission to withdraw the writ appeal and also makes an endorsement to that effect, as under: " In view of the G.O.96, dated 31.07.2015, the writ appeal is withdrawing."

In view of the above, the writ appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, M.P. No. 1 of 2015 is dismissed. No costs.
