This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to quash the order passed by the first respondent and consequentially direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's Rate Bid and Award contract of Handling & Transport pursuant to the Tender Notice dated 27.01.2006 in favour of the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents submitted that the dispute relates to awarding of contract for handling and transporting of good grains and now, the contract period itself has also expired. Hence, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
