Prayer in W.P.No.15861 of 2012 :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.111300/C1/E1/2011 dated 25.04.2012 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to prepare a panel for promotion to the post of Higher Secondary School Head Masters by including the name of the petitioners.

C O M M O N O R D E R In all these writ petitions, the petitioners who are working as Vocational Instructors in Government Higher Secondary School, Mannargudi, Thiruvarur district are praying to include their names in the seniority list for the purpose of promotion to the post of Head Master / Head Mistress, Government High Schools. However, this Court in W.P.No.29244 of 2011 dated 30.11.2023 decided a similar matter and the same was against the petitioners therein. In that back ground when the matter came up for hearing on 26.02.2024 there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners, hence Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "for dismissal" on 28.02.2024. When the matter was called today none represented on behalf of the petitioners and as such the matters shall stand dismissed for non prosecution.

2. Accordingly, these writ petitions are dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. 28.02.2024
