Contempt petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the respondents herein for committing contempt of Court by willfully disobeying the orders passed by this Court in WMP No.14904 of 2018 in W.P.No.12719 of 2018 dated 04.06.2018.

ORDER

As it appears that after this contempt petition has been filed, the petitioners were allowed to work and the payments were also made to them for the period they have worked. Today, two account pay cheques issued by the fourth respondent, are handed over to the counsel appearing for the petitioners before this Court. Since the petitioners are continuing to work, this Contempt petition is closed, without prejudice to the claim of the petitioners that they are working by the date of this order and also there was no disruption of the work. However, for the disputed period, the claim of the petitioners, if any shall be subject to the out come of the writ petition.

2. Needless to say that the petitioners shall be allowed to continue the work and the payments also shall be made by the fourth respondent for the period they are

working by such account pay cheques in future, till the final disposal of the writ petition.
