ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 294 (b), 341, 323 & 506(i) IPC in Crime No.20 of 2017 and seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. It is a case in counter.

3.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that due to the petitioner is said to have waylaid, abused and attacked the defacto complainant and thereby caused injury. He further submitted that there is no external injury caused to the defacto complainant.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that no external injury caused to the defacto complainant, this court feels that there is no need for custodial interrogation for the petitioner and is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a bond

for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Nagapattinam District or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m for two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. -sd/- 08/03/2017 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
