ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police in connection with a case registered in Crime No.30 of 2021 for the alleged offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 336, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damages and Loss) Act, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. There are totally ten accused in this case and the petitioner has been arrayed as A9. The petitioner along with other accused persons said to have attacked the de facto complainant and cause damages to the vehicles parked near the Tsunami campaign on the road side .

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent of the offence alleged and he has been falsely implicated in the case. According to him, A1 who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody had already been granted bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would strongly oppose the petition. According to him, the petitioner has seven other cases of serious nature.

Considering the nature of the offence and also the alleged involvement of the petitioner in seven other cases of serious nature, this court is of the considered view that it is not a fit case for the grant of anticipatory bail as there is every possibility of repeating the offence by the petitioner, if he is released on bail.
