2. We have heard Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, for respondents 1 to 4.
3. The relief claimed in the writ petition was to restrain the fifth respondent from resorting to any form of strike or boycott owing to the Board examinations and ensuring that classes and revision examinations are conducted as per schedule in consideration of the petitioner's representation dated 18.01.2019.
4. The writ petition is of the year 2019. This Court had granted ad-interim injunction on 23.01.2019. The programme of examination was between 22.01.2019 and 17.02.2019. With the passage of time, the purpose of the writ petition now does not survive.
5. The writ petition as such stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.2099 of 2019 is closed. (S.V.G., CJ.)
