ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 118(1) & 351 (3) of BNS in Crime No.481 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 26.08.2024, when the de facto complainant was at his house, the petitioner along with other accused arrived there and took him to

Amudha nagar ground. Where, they assaulted him with beer bottle and used filthy language to abuse him. Hence the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police while opposing for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner submitted that due to a quarrel the petitioner/A1 assaulted the de facto complainant, resulted in head injuries and the de facto complainant was later discharged from the hospital. He further submitted that the petitioner/A1 is a history sheeter. He further submitted that the petitioner is A1 in this case and he has five previous cases, the same is extracted hereunder:
