O R D E R

The petitioner was suspended from service pending initiation of disciplinary proceedings. The said order is under challenge in this writ petition.

2. During the currency of the writ petition, the petitioner was paid subsistence allowance for a period of one month. Subsequently, he was terminated from service. The said order is now the subject matter of a revision before the first respondent, viz.,Joint Registrar of the Co-operative Societies, Erode. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the second respondent has not paid him subsistence allowance.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the second respondent is prepared to pay the entire subsistence allowance provided an application to that effect is made.

4. The petitioner is given liberty to approach the second respondent with a comprehensive representation claiming subsistence allowance for the entire period during which, he was placed under suspension.

In case of filing any such representation, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the second respondent within a period of six weeks, in the light of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
