Respondents Prayer :- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2015 and to restore the electricity connection to the petitioner's premises situated at No.18, 5th Street, 1st Floor, Venkadesapuram, Kannagipuram, Perambur Barracks Road, Chennai - 600 012.

ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition for issuing a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2015 and to restore the electricity service connection to the petitioner's premises situated at No.18, 5th Street, 1st Floor, Venkadesapuram, Kannagipuram, Perambur Barracks Road, Chennai - 600 012.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, on instructions, would state that when an inspection was conducted on 25.03.2015, the service connection was found not disconnected, which stands in the name of the second respondent.

3. In the light of the submission of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There is no order as to costs.
