Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the Divisional Manager, Ryan Tea Division, Periyakallar Valparai Taluk, Coimbatore District, the third respondent herein relating to the impugned transfer order in proceedings number Na.Ka.No.1250/07/THO dated 08.05.2008 and quash the same as illegal arbitrary unreasonable being violative of the standing order of the Tamil Nadu Plantation Corporation Ltd., and principles of natural justice thereby direct the second and third respondents herein to retain the petitioner at Ryan Tea Division itself.

When the matter is taken up for final disposal, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner has voluntarily abandoned his service from the respondent Corporation and the subject matter of the writ petition has become infructuous. He has also produced a letter dated 17.07.2017 of the second respondent addressed to the first respondent to that effect. The letter dated 17.07.2017 of the third respondent is taken on file and the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
