O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to fix the pay of Directly Recruited Group II Assistants in the District Revenue Unit in Scale of Rs.1640 - 2900 w.e. from 01.06.1988 with all consequential benefits.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the representation dated 12.07.1995 has been submitted to the respondents 1 and 2 and that the Writ Petition may be disposed of by directing the said respondents to consider the representation within a reasonable time and pass orders on merits after providing adequate opportunity to the petitioner. 3.This request is not opposed by the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.07.1995, on merits, after providing reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and pass orders thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
