ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.,] The above petition has been filed by the petitioner to cause production of his wife Anjumrakshan, aged about 30 years, who is said to be in the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent, before this Court and set her at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that he got married to the detenue Anjumrakshan on 24.02.2011 and they have one female child through the said wedlock. It is alleged that the detenue is under the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent herein, who is none other than the mother of the detenue/mother-in-law of the petitioner herein.

Under such circumstances, this Court is of the considered opinion that there is no illegal detention of the detenue Anjumrakshan, as she is residing with her mother. We find no reason to entertain this petition.

Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate Forum in accordance with law.
