2. This Writ Petition Criminal was disposed of on 28.01.2026. However, before the order was signed, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) requested that the matter may be posted for clarification. Hence, the same is posted today under the caption 'for clarification'.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the petitioner lodged a complaint on 23.12.2025 alleging that the respondents 3 to 7 along with their henchmen, trespassed into the house of the petitioner and snatched his mobile phone therefore, the earlier complaints and counter complaints pending between the parties. Now based on the representation dated 23.12.2025 enquiry is pending before the Assistant Commissioner, Saidapet. He further submitted that the Assistant Commissioner will forward the complaint either to the Inspector of Police (Crime) or Inspector of (Law & Order), Kumaran Nagar, who shall complete the enquiry with in a period of four weeks.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Assistant Commissioner, Saidapet to forward the representation of the petitioner dated 23.12.2025 to either the Inspector of Police (Law & Order) or the Inspector of Police (Crime) within a period of one week, who shall complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receiving such representation from the Assistant Commissioner, Saidapet.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a direction to the first respondent to dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 23.12.2025 and to initiate suitable proceedings against the respondents 3 to 7 in accordance with law.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 23.12.2025 alleging that the respondents 3 to 7 along with their henchmen, trespassed into the house of the petitioner and snatched his mobile phone. Based on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.12.2025, an enquiry is being conducted. He further submitted that the said enquiry is being conducted by the Inspector of Police (Crime), R6, Kumaran Nagar Police Station and the same will be completed and disposed of within a period of four weeks.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 submitted that there are civil disputes pending between the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4. He further submitted that the petitioner's family agreed to sell the property and received an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- as advance and they are refusing to register the sale.

Recording the submissions made and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Inspector of Police (Crime), R6, Kumaran Nagar Police Station, to dispose of current paper, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
