This Company Application is filed seeking to direct the Official Liquidator to file a report setting out the steps taken to secure the sum of Rs.16,00,00,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Crores only) immediately, and further directing the Official Liquidator to take suitable measures as this Court may deem fit, to protect the said amount.

i) Prayer in Comp.A.No.799 of 2011:

This Company Application is filed seeking to direct the Official Liquidator to file a report setting out the steps taken to cause the filing of a Statement of Affairs by the Ex-Directors of the Company in Liquidation, and further directing the Official Liquidator to take such steps as may be necessary and expedient to determine the status of assets and receivables of the Company in Liquidation.

2. The Deputy Official Liquidator appearing for the respondent is present. None appeared on behalf of the applicant. 1/3

3. Ms.B.Ambili, Deputy Official Liquidator submitted that the ExDirectors of the company in liquidation have filed their Statement of Affairs. Hence, she submitted that she will take appropriate steps to recover the due amount. Further, she would submit that these applications have been filed before filing of the Statement of Affairs.

4. Considering the submission made by the Deputy Official Liquidator and the subsequent development made with regard to filing of the Statement of Affairs, this Court feels that no further direction is required to the Deputy Official Liquidator, since the Official Liquidator would act as per law.
