This writ petition has been filed to call for the records order of 1st respondent passed in C.P.No.840/97, 1140/97 and 336/98 dated 10.12.2002.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner/Society has settled a sum of Rs.3,45,542.06/- (Rupees Three lakhs forty five thousand five hundred forty two and six paise only) to the second respondent through Cheque bearing Cheque No.576426 dated 29.01.2020, drawn on Chennai Central Cooperative Bank Limited, Washermanpet Branch. Hence, he prayed this Court to close the present writ petition.

3. In view of the above facts and circumstances of this case, it is clear and evident that nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Hence, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. 16.06.2023 (vm) Index :
