ORDER

The petitioner/A3, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 468, 471 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.15 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the first accused, who was working as a temporary computer operator in Villupuram Municipality, by falsification and fabrication of documents has misappropriated Government funds to the tune of Rs.8,01,38,245/-. Hence the case

3. This is the second anticipatory bail petition. The earlier anticipatory bail petition in Crl.OP.No.28980 of 2024 was dismissed on 11.12.2024 by Hon'ble Mr.Justice A.D.Jagadish Chandira, by making the following observations:

"5. Taking into consideration the fact that public funds to the tune of Rs.8,01,38,245/- has been embezzled and an amount of Rs.1,48,31,621/- has been transferred to the account of the petitioner and the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed."

4. This Court finds no change in circumstances and therefore, is not inclined to entertain this petition for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 2/3
