The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 25.01.2017.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner gave a representation to the 1st respondent to cancel the Deed of unilateral cancellation of Settlement Deed dated 10.04.1995 on the file of the 1st respondent. The learned counsel submitted that the 1st respondent has not considered the same yet.

3.Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the request made by the petitioner cannot be granted for the reason https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that after a lapse of several years, the petitioner has given the representation for cancellation of the Cancellation Deed. However, the stand taken by the respondents can be informed to the petitioner by way of a reply.

4.In these circumstances, I direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2017 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
