O R D E R

The petitioner is presently working as Junior Engineer in Coimbatore Corporation. His next avenue of promotion is to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer. Even though the Government have created one post of Assistant Executive Engineer (Planning), action was not taken to fill up the said post by giving promotion to the petitioner. This made the petitioner to submit a representation on 1.8.2014. However, there was no follow up action taken by the first respondent. 2. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 1.8.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
