ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.6 of 2018.

2. Even though there is a delay in filing the complaint, there are sufficient allegations made in the complaint to the effect that the petitioner has collected a sum of Rs.6,30,000/- towards a chit transactions. The de-facto complainant has also submitted the relevant documents in order to substantiate the allegations. The grounds raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner are all factual in nature and the same needs to be investigated by the respondent police.

3.This Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation at this stage. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected Crl.M.P.No.1129 of 2019 is closed.
