Suo motu W.P.No.8028 of 2018 THE HON'BLE CHIEF JUSTICE and N.MALA, J.

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The compliance of the order of this Court dated 27.01.2022 has not yet been made.

2. Accordingly, suo motu cognizance of contempt is taken against the respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 27.01.2022. The Registry is directed to register a suo motu contempt against the respondents/contemnors and issue notice to them as to why they should not be punished for the commission of contempt under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

The respondents/contemnors are granted two weeks' time to file a reply to the suo motu contempt in regard to the non-compliance of the order dated 27.01.2022 passed in W.P.No.8028 of 2018.

3. As the respondents did not submit the compliance report by 31.03.2022 as directed by this Court, the costs of Rs.25,000/- is

imposed on them. The costs should be deposited with the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority before the next date of hearing and should be paid by the individual and not from the public exchequer.

4. Let the petition be listed on 08.08.2022 along with the suo motu contempt petition.
