The matter has been listed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Sessions Judge, Mahalir Neethimandram, Allikulam, Chennai in D.No.950/2023 dated 10.11.2023.

It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.OP.Nos.2692 & 3145 of 2022, this Court by an order dated 11.07.2023, directed to complete the trial in S.C.No.218 of 2018 within a period of three months. However, the learned Sessions Judge, Mahalir Neethimandram, Allikulam, Chennai has sent communication dated 10.11.2023 narrating the sequence of proceedings and sought further time to complete the trial. 3.
Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant further time. Accordingly, further two months time is granted to complete the trial in S.C.No.218 of 2018 from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
