ORDER

The Petitioner had filed this Petition seeking Police protection for measuring the Petitioner's land situated in S.No.31/6, Suramangalam Village, Salem District.

2. When the case came up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner is the owner of the property bearing Door No.253, Periyar Street, Suramangalam Village, Salem District. She had paid the fees to the Corporation of Salem to measure the property in S.No.31/6. The Revenue Officials attached to the Revenue Department of the Corporation also came to measure the property. However, the adjacent land owner had protested regarding the measurement. Therefore, she had sought Police protection to measure the property.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the complaint given by the Petitioner was registered in C.S.R.No.1644 of 2020 by the second Respondent and they had conducted enquiry and advised both the parties to sort out the dispute through Civil Court. 2/4

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Respondent Police is directed to give protection to the Revenue Officials who come to the house site belonging to the Petitioner to measure the property.
