ORDER

The petitioner temple made an application for electricity service connection. Since the same has not been considered till now, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3.In the counter affidavit filed by the respondent, it has been stated as follows:

"7.I further submit that the Board is ready and willing to give service connection, if the petitioner furnish the N.O.C. along with necessary documents and proper service connection application. I further submit that the District Collector, Kancheepuram is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

necessary party respondent in the above case hence the short ground the above writ petition is dismissed in limine (sic.)."

4.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that No Objection Certificate has already been obtained from the Tahsildar concerned. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to produce the same to the respondent. On such production of the No Objection Certificate, the petitioner temple will have to be given electricity service connection within a period of four weeks. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
