This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 72 days in filing the Criminal Appeal.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent-1. Though respondents 2 and 3 have been served with notice, there is no representation on behalf of them.

3.Being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed along with the petition, this Court is inclined to allow the petition.

4.Accordingly, this petition is allowed and the delay is condoned.
